New Releases: September 3 - 9, 2013

The new YA releases this week are making up for the slow times back in June and July. There are tonnes of new books coming out this week, and in the following two months, and I AM SO EXCITED. There are so many that I am looking forward to. All Our Yesterdays is fantastic (me and Debby can vouch for that), and I am dying to get my hands on Project Cain and Scorched. Which new releases are you looking forward to? Have you read any already? All Our Yesterdays has been out for a while in the UK, so have any of my fellow Brits read it already?

  1. All our yesterdays, Conjured & Scorched look great. I've heard some mixed things about Project Cain, but I'm still willing to give it a shot. I can't wait to get started in The hallowed ones - I love the covers from this series :)

    1. I've heard mixed things too, but I don't even care. I mostly want it for the cover though, not gonna lie.

  2. I'm VERY excited for Project Cain, it sounds fabulous. Also Scorched, because dragons. I didn't like All Our Yesterdays but w/e, I'm just the odd one on that one.

    1. YESSSSSSS. I've never actually read a dragon book, although Firelight has been on my shelf for three years. Nah, Christina only gave it a couple of stars as well, it's not just you XD

    1. I've heard that The 100 is awful, but since I am addicted to the CW (shhhh, don't tell anyone) I just HAVE to read it.

  5. I'm not a Brit, but I read AOY and loved it! I'm excited for more people to read it.

I'm not so enthusiastic about the other September releases I've read. Project Cain was more like a Wikipedia entry than a story. Conjured was not great, but it had a creepy, bizarre ending. And The 100 was disappointing - lots of cliched characters and an ending that was too abrupt. I'm all for cliffhangers, but this was just incomplete. I do want to check out the sequel, though, and it's going to be a TV series this fall in the U.S. I'm interested to see it.

    1. I'm so glad you loved AOY! I can't wait for the sequel. But was it a fun Wikipedia entry where Tumblr take over and start adding bits and pieces about their ships? XD I'm not expecting to enjoy The 100 AT ALL, but the TV show is spurring me on.
